I’ll be in my home country for a few days starting tomorrow, and decided to rent a car so I can easily visit my friends and family in between work. I’ve had a financially good month in July and decided to “splurge” on a “premium” rental.
It’s going to be between a Jaguar XE, Audi A4 or BMW 3-series. All automatic. Which one should I hope for and why? Haven’t driven any of them so it will be neat in any case. Also on offer was an F-type Coupe V6, but that was a bit too much of a splurge, haha.

Jag. Mainly because the Germans will be stripped out base models...and will look it.

I would personally hope for the XE. It’s beautiful.

The XE is the most interesting. The 3 series second. Audi last. The problem with the Audi is that it would need more power to hide it’s fwd roots. Jaguar stuff always feels a cut above in terms of theatrics. I had a diesel XF recently and it was great.
